Covid-19 instructions at the event (updated 29.7.2021 at 22:54)
The current restrictions due to Covid-19 in the Lahti area will be in place until 15.8.2021.
However, there is a permission to arrange events when instructions of Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare (THL) and the Ministry of Education and culture are followed. Our plan to prevent the spread of the corona virus during this event has been duly delivered to the infectious disease doctor and the event is carried out in cooperation with the local authorities. In regard to the corona safety of the event, the following instructions are in place:
o Face masks will be handed out to the visitors, using your own mask is also recommended.
o Hand sanitizer has been sufficiently reserved for the event.
o Surfaces will be disinfected during the event.
o Maximum simultaneous attendance inside the event area is limited to 200 persons so that everyone has a genuine opportunity to keep a safety distance of at least two meters.
o In order to keep the number of visitors in the event area steady during the day, a possibility to book a 30-minute timeslot for arrival will be offered to visitors before the event. Visitors will also be allowed to enter without a pre-booked timeslot, but they may need to wait before entering during the most popular times. Instructions for booking a timeslot will be published soon.
o To ensure proper safety distances inside the building, maximum of five people will be allowed at each lab cache or vendor or at the logbook at the same time.
o A safety distance of two meters must be observed while queuing.
o All volunteers and other staff members will use face masks in the event area.
o Visitor’s phone numbers, information of their hometown and time of arrival will be gathered at the InfoPoint. Giving this information is completely voluntary. If needed, the information will be given to the health authorities to facilitate corona exposure tracing. This information is duly retained and not used for any other purpose.
o We recommend installing the Koronavilkku application and keeping it active during the event.
o The event area map with further instructions will be published at the latest on Friday 6.8.2021.
If you have even minor flu symptoms or you have been ordered to quarantine, do not attend the event. By operating safely together, we can make the event as comfortable and safe as possible for everybody.
